Lucy Allais, Jenann Ismael, and Martha Jones have been selected to join the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Allais was recognized for her scholarship on Kant, forgiveness, and bioethics; Ismael for her influential work on the philosophy of physics and metaphysics; and Jones for her groundbreaking research on race, law, and rights in 19th-century America.
