Vice Deans for Faculty

The Office of Faculty Affairs partners with divisional Vice Deans for Faculty (or comparable roles) to advance and promote the important work of Johns Hopkins faculty by enhancing faculty development initiatives, supporting inclusive excellence, and cultivating an engaged and collaborative faculty community. Within their divisions, VDFs may oversee faculty recruitment and retention, develop and sustain partnerships with other schools at JHU, and work to ensure that Johns Hopkins faculty have the appropriate resources, access, and support to reach their full potential.
