Kofi Anning Senior Academic Program Coordinator
Kofi grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. He earned his B.A from Chowan University, after which he moved to Illinois and worked for several corporations on the administrative side for over a decade. In 2022, Kofi decided to move back to his home state of Maryland and joined the administrative team at Johns Hopkins University as a Project Coordinator in the Department of Otolaryngology in the School of Medicine. He supported the faculty in many capacities in this role. In February of 2024, Kofi was promoted to Senior Academic Program Coordinator for the Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs. In this role, he is responsible for providing administrative coordination and programmatic support for The Academy at Johns Hopkins, which caters to retired and senior faculty members.
