Samantha McDonald Faculty Information Systems Administrator
Samantha McDonald recently joined the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs as the Faculty Information Systems Administrator, where she serves as the University’s Interfolio Institutional Administrator. Her current work focuses on all aspects of the Interfolio platform, including faculty recruitment, data reporting, training, communications, and troubleshooting, ultimately ensuring smooth and strategic use of the platform university-wide.
With over a decade of experience at Johns Hopkins across multiple divisions, Sam brings deep institutional knowledge and a track record of operational efficiency. Prior to this role, she served as an Administrative Specialist in the Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Faculty Office, where she oversaw Interfolio workflows, enhanced faculty onboarding processes, and helped launch faculty development initiatives such as the BSPH Faculty Leadership Program, Early-Career Faculty Writing Retreats, and Writing Accountability Groups.
